  • Ready? Set?

    Our Remote Online Notarization can take up to 20 minutes, but usually less. Not too tech-savvy? That’s OK! Jeffrey will talk you through it, no problem. Have your acceptable form of Identification ready to present for inspection at the beginning of our session. Verify your internet connection and that you are using the Chrome browser. Verify that your web camera and audio are working.

    Your digital documents should be in PDF, DOCX, PPTX, XLSX text or PNG, SVG, JPG, TIFF image format. Max size is 30 MB. See our Free Resources for some ways to edit your PDF files.

    DO NOT sign, date nor initial anything just yet, we will do that at our meeting. Make certain your documents are otherwise complete, with no blanks nor empty lines within the text.

    As Notaries cannot answer questions on legal matters, be sure you fully understand the documents that you are going to sign before we meet. Direct any questions to the party requiring the notarization. See our Signer Instructions and watch a video here for all the details.

    The fee is $25 for 1 certificate. Each additional certificate is $8. A Trust package with 1 Signer, 1 Witness and 4 certificates is $49.

    Witnesses can be provided when available from our Notary pool for $10 or you can invite your own when you register at no charge. They can be co-located with you or at another remote location.

    If the white announcement banner is displayed up top, Jeffrey is online and ready to meet you NOW! You can also schedule this for a later time/date as you wish.

    Jeffrey will be notified and standing by while you upload your docs and complete your ID verification.

    Once we both ‘Join Session’ we will conduct an Audio/Visual check. We can use the Chat on the bottom right of your screen if needed. When your ID has successfully completed the verification process, we can proceed.

    Our meeting will follow a step-by-step script to assure perfection. There are several questions you must answer concerning your understanding and willingness, then we get to signing!

    You simply drag and drop the appropriate elements (Printed Name, Signature, Initials, Date, etc.) onto the spot that Jeffrey points out. He will help you create these the first time, then you can drag/drop for the rest of the document.

    Once we both confirm that every line has been satisfied and the document is complete, Jeffrey will issue his Signature and Stamp. Done!

    You will be able to download or email your digital files directly after the meeting.
